Bob Barker, come on down!!!

Today was Bob Barker's last show on the Price is Right.

They didn't do the yabby song, but they did play Plink-o.
The last player cried when he got on stage. He lost his game.

Showcase #1 was a trip to St. Maarten, a trip to Ireland, and a Lincoln Navigator. The top-winner passed. The runner-up bid $61,000.

The second showcase was an electric grill, a Greek Island Mediterranean cruise, and a Cadillac convertible. She bid $84,800. The crowd gasped in agony.

Showcase #1 Actual retail price? $68,677. Difference of $7,677.

Showcase #2 Actual retail price? $90,761, difference of $5,938. She won!

Folks, remember to help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or nudered!

Thanks for 50 years of memories, Bob.

I was actually surprised you didn't call it "The Rice is Price." Who doesn't remember sleeping in and watching that every single day for our entire summer break? Seems like all I did when school was out....Sure am gonna miss that Bob Barker.

CJ cannot stop laughing about the "nudered." You meant that as a joke right?

Emily said...

yeah. i initially put "spade and nudered" but figured everyone would think it was a jimmy so i changed the spade at least.

So did you hear the rumors that Rosie O'Donnell might be the new host? On to the show's demise.

oh man, that would be so weird.

i don't mind rosie that much, i just don't think she would be a great gameshow host. maybe i'm wrong. jim rome calls her rosie o'fat. i think that's mean. but it always makes me laugh, which makes me mean.
