I hiked to the lakes above Brighton in June to see what they looked like compared to Sept 2011. You recall in 2011 we had lots of snow. Not so much in 2012. So there was some difference in the amount of water in the lakes but the greatest difference was in the flowers and meadows. Pretty dry this year compared to last fall.
