Albuquerque again - the aquarium

Well even though we've been home for a while now, I still have pictures of our Albuquerque trip to share. This was a fun day at the aquarium. Rachel LOVED being there and was so cute! I think she thought she would be able to touch the fish and she kept trying so hard and then she would look at us and SMILE. It was really fun.
The kids even got to touch a horseshoe crab (and other sea creatures) although Charlie didn't really want to. And who can blame him? Those things are yucky - especially from the bottom. All those legs...yuck! The day we were there, 3 sting rays had just been born so they were moving them out of the large tank (to protect them?) and they were so tiny! About the size of my hand.

Do you like his little foot kicked up behind him?
Charlie loved the sharks.

Only one or two more posts and our Albuquerque travel log will be over. So sad. By the way, my post about Rachel's arm prompted Eric to post a photo of Hayden's broken arm on the Wolf Family site (you can link to it from this blog - on the right) but beware! It is not a photo for the faint of heart. It was a compound fracture and it made me a little queasy... If Rachel's arm had looked like that, I would've passed out.
