We spent Saturday at the Houston Zoo. This is Hannah and Charlie in a "prairie dog hole" - they can actually pop-up right in the middle of the animals in the exhibit. The weather was nice and we went early before it got unbearably humid.
CJ was off on Monday for Memorial Day so I asked him how he wanted to spend the day and he said, "in nature." So I asked if he had noticed that it was pouring rain outside (and supposed to continue for the rest of the day) and asked if he had any other ideas and he said, "in nature with an umbrella." We ended up at
"Shrek the Third" instead. It was pretty funny! The pinocchio part was my favorite - very funny!
Then yesterday was our weekly "Moms and Tots" outing with our ward. We visited a fun place called
Bounce On It. They had a new Cars slide and the kids couldn't get enough of it.
