Today in honor of Veteran's day (or maybe not so much in honor of that as it was celebrating Dave's day off...) we went to the Ogden Dinosaur Park. It was fun! And surprisingly cold. It's been in the mid to upper sixties for a few weeks now and we were not prepared for the blast of cold we got this morning, as you will notice in the outdoor pictures (pink cheeks, frostbitten hands, etc.). We started inside, first witnessing a fight between a triceratops mom and a T-rex. The kids were terrified (I'm not joking). Then Dave almost got his head bitten off by another dino. We talked a little to a man who was glueing crushed fossils back together. He had 20 hours into it already and had barely put any of it together. A gigantic jigsaw puzzle that I would hate.

Dinosaur Park
Then we headed outside. Noah and Isaac dug a bit for fossils, and Noah fell in love with a bunny. I swear no kid in the world loves animals more than him. It's very cute. A man came out and gave us some food to feed the ducks and gigantic fish
Finally, we played on the playground equipment. A giant treehouse complete with slides and lookout tower, swings, and dinosaurs to climb on.
We ended our day looking at the world's most dangerous creature. Turns out there is fun stuff to do up here, who knew?
Here is Noah attempting to slide. His first go was much better, I guess his shoes slowed him down the second time?

Looks like such a fun day. You guys sure do a loot of partyin' ya know? How did the shrimp tacos turn out?
they were good--dave loved 'em, i knew he would, but we both agreed less mint and more jalapeno next time (i only did 1/2 tsp. mint and it calls for 2!). we try and party as much as possible. i also drove down to draper and got my hair cut and colored but didn't even go see mom or dad! sad.
you hate them now or what? I told you there was too much mint! Maybe next time, I'll exclude it altogether. How's your hair?
no they were fine, but the idea of fish tacos has never really appealed to me. hair is fine. i do it so dark these days i look like an albindo for a couple of days 'til i get used to it (you know, it's so dark it makes my skin that much whiter)
Looks like you guys had a fun day. James didn't have work off and all the schools were in session. My mom thought that us East Coast people are anti-patriotic. (:
Look at that Noah walking! So cute! So, now Rachel's walking too! What's up with my lazy little Jack?? He's standing up here and there without holding onto anything, but no walking. I'm guessing once he gets better from all these colds he's been having, he'll feel well enough to try it out.
noah's been walking forever, i barely even remember him crawling! funny!
